Tasting Notes
Dark fruit compote with real depth. Blackcurrant and prunes build a rich, jammy base while tonka bean adds vanilla and spice that makes it more interesting than it sounds on paper. The sour character underneath stops it going too sweet. A Pastry Sour Ale at 6.1% that hits the dessert notes without losing its beer credentials, which is a harder balance to land than it looks.
