Piraat Triple is a golden Belgian strong ale at 10.5% named after the pirate ships that once sailed out of Ghent. Fruity esters, spicy yeast character, and a honeyed sweetness combine in a beer that conceals its considerable strength behind a smooth and elegant presentation. Effervescent and very well-balanced, it is dangerously easy-drinking for something of this calibre and strength.
