Oude Kriek from Oud Beersel pours a deep ruby color and gives off that unmistakable burst of real cherries immediately. This Cherry Lambic has a bit of tartness from the fruit, with a lively edge that comes from maturing in wooden barrels. Sitting at 6%, it’s got a touch of funkiness from the wild fermentation but keeps things fresh with a nice zing, not overly sweet, just super pleasant and tangy.
