Mc Chouffe is the darker, richer character in the D'Achouffe lineup: a Belgian dark strong ale at 8% ABV, refermented in bottle and barrel. Aniseed, liquorice, toffee, and raisins layer into a smooth, malty body with a ruby sparkle and a subtle yeast spice that builds at the finish. The mascot on the label is Malcolm, the Scottish gnome, a nod to Mc Chouffe's distinctly non-Belgian personality.
