Maskerade is a barrel-aged Imperial Brown Ale and a collaboration between Deschutes Brewery and Alesong Brewing and Blending. Bourbon, brandy, and rich dark fruit aromas from the barrel sit alongside caramel, vanilla, and roasted malt from the grain bill. The result is deeply layered and genuinely complex, with a warmth that builds slowly and deliberately throughout the glass at 13.5% ABV.
