Tasting Notes

Brewed to celebrate their 7000th brew, this 13.9% English-style barleywine aged 16 months in 10 to 15 year old bourbon barrels. You'll get toffee, brown sugar, dates and dried fruit with woody bourbon notes threading through everything. The ABV hides dangerously well in the medium body with some tingling carbonation and a warming finish. Made with floor-malted English barley and Noble hops, it's complex and subtle with a slight umami character.
