Many of us see or think dark beer and run with the mind set of heavy and full body, lingering in our mouths. This one smells like it may do that with a heavy note of caramel. It also does hangout flavour wise. However the taste, its somewhat light, yet complex where you're interested to try more and understand it better because you kinda can't at first. Slow sipping, while talking to friends or cooking, or whatever you enjoy doing. At a pace we all would like to enjoy more often, of nothing going on.... Considering this was first brewed in 1884, the La Trappe monks were onto something.
